Our Work
Dharma Raksha Sangha is dedicated to nurturing a living connection to Sanātana Dharma through direct experience, structured learning, and community dialogue. We focus on three pillars of action:
Cultural Celebrations
We celebrate Indian festivals with spiritual insight and authenticity. Every event is an opportunity to explore the behind our rituals and learn to do them on your own:
- Maha Shivratri – Understanding tapas and inner stillness
- Navratri – Honoring the divine feminine and inner resilience
- Diwali – Celebrating the victory of inner light over confusion
We also mark lesser-known observances with reverence and learning.
Education & Workshops
We host bi-monthly sessions that explore core Vedantic texts and offer practical paths for daily living. Our programs include:
- Study Circles for Adults – Bhagavad Gita, Tattva Bodha, and other Upanishadic texts
- Children’s Sessions – Dharma storytelling (Katha), values education, traditional games and Sanskrit shlokas
- Guided Practices – Meditation, mantra chanting, and reflective journaling
- Embodied Traditions – Introductory sessions in Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga, and Dhanurvidya (martial discipline)
Our facilitators are lifelong learners, educators, and practitioners committed to making this wisdom accessible without dilution.
Advocacy & Awareness
We respond peacefully but firmly to misrepresentations of Hindu culture, history, and practice. Our efforts include:
- Public information sessions on misunderstood symbols and traditions
- Published articles and interviews with scholars and thought leaders
- Peaceful participation in civic spaces when Sanātana Dharma is misrepresented or attacked
We believe education is the best advocacy. Through clarity, kindness, and critical thinking, we seek to protect—not politicize—our heritage.
